We offer information from both eastern and western perspectives and share evidenced-based research to illuminate the process of navigating through choices to promote sexual and relational well-being and pleasure.

​Because sexuality is complex, multidimensional and experienced and expressed uniquely by each person, we offer a Mindful Model of Sexual Health (MMSH) that utilizes the chakra system, from Indian yoga, as a framework to organize the intricacies of the many influencing factors that create a balance towards, or barriers to, sexual wellness.

Respect-based sexuality honors the rights of all human beings to experience their bodies as a safe place to enjoy their unique sexuality.  Respect- based sexuality ensures true freedom and choice.

HOLISM

Sexual health, mental health, and physical health are all interconnected. It is wise to approach them that way.

SAFETY

Zero tolerance for anyone being exploited, used or abused in order for another to experience sexual gratification. Do no harm. We need to untangle harm and violence from our sexuality.

MINDFUL CONNECTION

Development of this practice requires an interest in one’s inner self and an openness and curiosity for discovery within. This attuned awareness contributes to cultivating sexual intelligence and sexual empathy. Mindful connection contributes to sexual pleasure.​
